Job summary

Texas First Rentals in Brownsville Energy Solutions is seeking an entry-level heavy equipment technician to perform basic inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs under supervision. You’ll learn to plan repairs, process parts orders, and maintain safe work practices.

You’ll work with a team, develop skills through training paths, and stay compliant with company policies. This is a full-time on-site role requiring HS diploma and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have/acquire basic mechanic hand and pneumatic tools (metric/standard).
• One or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Assists in the rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining of equipment and components.
• Learns how to plan equipment and component repairs.
• Learns how to complete parts orders and identify parts for return.
• Maintains all equipment and work areas in good, clean, and orderly condition.
• Completes all documents associated with repairs in a timely manner.
• Works safely and adheres to company policies and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
