Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) seeks a Heat Treat Operator for its 2nd shift in California. You will load/unload heat treat baskets, monitor furnaces, verify temperatures, and record production data per work orders.

Role requires reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and complying with safety and PCC policies. Cross-training starts on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders with accuracy.
• Experience with heat-treat processes and data logging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces and related equipment.
• Load/unload baskets; verify material docs and lot control numbers.
• Perform quality checks before and after heat treatment.
• Update production logs and MRP/ERP data per work orders.
