Job summary

Pacific Coast Manor in Capitola, California is seeking a Central Supply team member who is willing to train. This position assists in organizing, tracking, ordering and providing supplies, PPE and equipment needed for running the facility.

Responsibilities include establishing PAR with nursing leadership, processing purchase orders, inspecting deliveries, maintaining inventory, and ensuring MSDSs meet OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with PCs and office equipment.
• Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to handle urgent requests.

Responsibilities

• Establishes PAR with the Director of Nursing.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed, signed and submitted timely.
• Reviews supply orders upon delivery, inspects for damaged goods, and verifies against purchase orders.
• Updates and maintains data relative to supplies using company software programs.
• Delivers emergency supplies and equipment as needed and directed.
• Participates in daily and monthly physical inventory and ensures supply room is properly secured and supplies are accounted for.
• Cleans equipment as needed and in compliance with infection control procedures.
• Coordinates and validates outside rental of equipment.
• Ensures that vendors provide MSDSs in accordance with OSHA regulations and facility policies.
