Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking an entry level Handyman to support maintenance operations at a client site. The role covers preventative, corrective and general maintenance under supervision, with duties spanning door repairs, light mechanical, plumbing, HVAC assistance, and routine labor tasks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, being 18+, and 0–1 years in facility maintenance. Valid driver’s license preferred if vehicle operation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 0–1 years in facility maintenance or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MV record if operating moving vehicles.
• English literacy and ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Performs general handyman tasks around the facility including door repairs, light mechanical work, light plumbing, painting, patching, bulb replacement, and other general labor as directed by the Manager.
• Resolves client work orders in the computer-based system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists tradesmen with repair, adjustment and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Performs and documents maintenance and repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; keeps workspace clean and safe.
