A leading company in financial services seeks an Internal Communications Specialist to forecast and implement marketing strategies. The role involves developing content, managing events, and ensuring communication aligns with overall strategies. The Internal Communications Specialist will forecast, develop, and implement marketing and communication strategies that support all Engagement initiatives.
Using the events calendar to forecast upcoming marketing needs. Scheduling meetings with Events/Uzone and Community to discuss upcoming marketing requests. Creating marketing assets for events and vendors, designing website pages, and creating digital flyers. Developing content documents based on team marketing needs and requests. Creating tasks to initiate marketing processes. Reviewing marketing assets to ensure all proper assets have been requested and designed accordingly. Ensuring all content aligns with the overall communication strategy. Noting necessary edits and working with the team to update any changes. Continuously updating marketing content documents to reflect final needs and asks. Downloading final assets into designated folders. Working closely with the Engagement Content Specialist to schedule UZone news postings. Saving marketing templates and making additional edits and updates to assets as needed using Adobe Suite. Creating layouts and maps to scale for engagement initiatives using Adobe Suite.
Forecasting communication needs for upcoming events, initiatives, and launches. Scheduling meetings with Events/Uzone and Community teams to create and review outgoing communication. Developing communication plans for major events and initiatives.
Updating all active contact lists in Qualtrics weekly. Creating registration surveys and dashboards for upcoming events. Monitoring Qualtrics surveys and communicating registration progress with the appropriate teams. Pulling reports from Qualtrics to determine missing RSVPs and needed metrics.
Printing new nameplates for team members based on requests. Managing plotter paper and ink inventory to re-order as needed. Printing A-frames and plotter signage for upcoming events and initiatives. Preparing and organizing CSV files for data merge name tags. Communicating production timelines and printing costs with vendors.
Organizing reports for major event fulfillment and distribution needs. Communicating needs with fulfillment companies based on event type. Coordinating distribution and fulfillment plans for major events (e.g., HP, fair, kids day, camp, etc.). Executing event distribution and fulfillment.
