Job summary

Shirt.Co is seeking an entry-level graphic artist to join our fast-paced art department in St. Peters, Missouri. This role focuses on production-ready artwork for screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products, using Illustrator or Canva.

You will work with customer-supplied artwork, ensure brand standards, and collaborate with sales and production teams to resolve issues. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment are

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Starting Pay: 20.00/hr

Shirt.Co is looking for an entry-level graphic artist to join our fast-paced art department. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Adobe Illustrator or Canva skills who wants to build a career in the custom apparel and promotional-products industry.

You’ll work with customer-supplied artwork and prepare production-ready files for screen printing, embroidery, DTF transfers, signs, banners, and promotional products.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise customer artwork and digital proofs
• Rebuild low-quality logos as clean vector artwork
• Prepare color separations and production-ready files
• Follow customer instructions, brand standards, and order details
• Communicate with sales and production teams to resolve artwork issues
• Organize files accurately and meet daily deadlines
• Review artwork for sizing, spelling, colors, and print quality

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator Or Canva
• Basic understanding of vector and raster artwork
• Strong attention to detail
• Good spelling, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn apparel-decoration production requirements
• Dependable, positive, and comfortable receiving feedback

Previous professional experience is not required. Education in graphic design or a strong portfolio is helpful. Experience with Photoshop, screen printing, embroidery, or apparel design is a plus.

This is primarily a production art position, not a branding or advertising-design role. Success requires speed, accuracy, consistency, and the ability to follow established processes.
