Job summary

Century-Golf-Partners-1 in La Quinta, CA is seeking an Agronomy Laborer - All Courses to join our golf maintenance team. This entry-level role focuses on general course and landscape tasks under supervision, learning safe operations while contributing to playability and aesthetics.

Responsibilities include day-to-day course setup, use of hand tools and small powered equipment, bunkers, mowing greens and roughs, irrigation basics, and keeping equipment clean.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; landscaping or grounds keeping a plus.
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions (heat, rain, cold).
• Reliable, positive attitude, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the department.
• Complies with company and regulatory safety policies.
• Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Reports equipment or site hazards immediately.
• Participates in safety training.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day course setup and maintenance under supervision.
• Uses hand tools and powered equipment (e.g., shovels, rakes, string trimmers, blowers, spreaders).
• Maintains bunkers, trims landscape areas, spreads mulch or pine straw, and removes debris.
• Learns to mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using walk-behind or riding mowers.
• Assists with watering and basic irrigation maintenance.
• Operates utility carts and helps transport materials.
• Supports clean-up and cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
