Job summary

Abbey Glass in Wareham, MA is seeking a dependable, hands-on Glass Installer & Shop Technician to learn the trade and contribute to shower enclosure projects. No prior glass experience is required; training provided to develop skills in measuring, installing, and finishing glass products.

You will assist experienced technicians in loading materials, preparing job sites, and performing shop duties in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of frameless and framed shower enclosures.
• Load, unload, carry, and safely handle glass panels, mirrors, hardware, tools, and materials.
• Help prepare job sites and protect customers' homes and work areas.
• Assist installers with measuring, leveling, drilling, fastening, sealing, and final cleanup.
• Cut and process flat glass and mirrors under supervision.
• Use glass-cutting tools, sanders, polishers, drills, and other shop equipment.
• Assemble shower hardware, frames, screens, and related products.
• Clean glass and inspect completed work for quality.
• Organize materials and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop.
• Load company vehicles and prepare materials for upcoming jobs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper glass-handling practices.
• Assist with auto glass work when qualified or as training becomes available.
• Perform other shop, installation, and general labor duties as needed.
