Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL, seeks an entry-level Staff Engineer to contribute to geotechnical engineering and construction material testing projects.

You will plan and supervise field and laboratory testing, perform geotechnical analyses, and help develop design and construction recommendations under the guidance of senior engineers. New graduates are welcome; a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with EIT status is required, and a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with EIT status required; Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise field and laboratory testing for construction material testing and geotechnical projects.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses.
• Develop design and construction recommendations based on findings.
• Write reports and perform site reconnaissance, field testing and monitoring.
• Work in a team environment guided by senior professional engineers.
