Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Fort Myers is seeking an Engineering Assistant Intern to support the engineering team with hands‑on tasks, documentation, testing, and basic design work under licensed engineers.

Hours vary with workload and schedule flexibility is available to accommodate students. The role offers on‑the‑job training, mentoring, and exposure to field and laboratory environments in geotechnical engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in (or recent graduate of) Civil/Environmental Engineering or related program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong data organization and math skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff engineers with project tasks and coordination.
• Assist with field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
• Enter, organize, and summarize field and laboratory data; prepare technical documents.
• Maintain equipment, keep work areas safe, and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and mentoring.
