You will work outdoors, lift 40–50 lbs, and collaborate with senior staff while gaining hands-on geotechnical experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 0–2 years in related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; further coursework in related fields is a plus.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction, materials testing, or related field.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field testing of construction materials to verify project specifications.
• Collect samples of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates for lab testing.
• Perform basic laboratory tests under supervision of senior staff.
• Accurately document field activities, test results, and observations.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment per company standards.
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns immediately.
• Communicate professionally with contractors, site personnel, and team members.
• Support senior technicians and engineers with data entry and report prep.
• Travel to project sites using company-provided transportation.
