Job summary

Vantor is seeking an entry-level Geospatial Analyst for an on-site role. Responsibilities include creating and editing geospatial layers, performing GIS tasks, and applying basic topology and data attribution. Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS is preferred; Python/SQL/HTML knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GIS, geoprocessing, data attribution
• Willingness to learn new skills in support of team objectives
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in geospatial discipline or related field

Responsibilities

• Create and edit geospatial layers from internal and external sources
• Perform GIS tasks to build and update layers
• Apply topology and data attribution basics
• Enrich and aggregate open-source data to create geospatial datasets
• Work with vector and raster data
• Ensure datasets are accurate and standards-compliant (OGC)
• Use coding environments to support geospatial tasks
• Collaborate with an analytic team across disciplines
