Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers, scanning items and handling payments
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end area throughout shift
• Answer customer questions and resolve simple issues during checkout
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures while staying adaptable to changing priorities
