Job summary

VertexGlobal in the United States is seeking an Entry Level Formworker to join our team. You will build and assemble formwork for concrete structures, with on-the-job training provided for those new to the construction industry.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and shaping materials, assembling formwork, placing concrete, and finishing surfaces. Opportunities for growth and accommodation may be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must have biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy materials.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine formwork requirements.
• Measure, cut and shape materials according to specifications.
• Assemble formwork using hand and power tools.
• Place concrete into forms and smooth the surface using various tools.
• Remove forms once concrete has set and clean up worksite.
