GulfSea Services in Akron, USA is seeking an Entry-Level Formworker to join our field team. You will read blueprints, measure materials, cut and assemble components to form concrete structures, and prepare sites for pours.

This physically demanding role requires careful attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and safely. We offer a starting salary of $1,400 per month, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read diagrams accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Basic understanding of construction techniques and safety procedures preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal or other materials to form concrete structures.
• Prepare construction site by cleaning debris and removing obstacles.
• Set up forms for pouring concrete using various tools and equipment.
• Pour, spread, tamp, and smooth concrete using tools such as shovels, rakes, trowels, etc.
• Monitor the curing process of concrete structures to ensure they are properly set.
• Assist in the removal of forms after concrete has set.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for formwork construction.
