Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine the size and shape of the formwork needed
• Measure and cut materials such as wood, metal, or plastic to create formwork
• Assemble forms on site according to specifications
• Place reinforcing bars or mesh inside the forms to reinforce the concrete structure
• Pour concrete into the forms and smooth it using tools like trowels or floats
• Check the alignment and level of the formwork before pouring concrete
• Remove forms after the concrete has set and clean up the work area
• Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
