Job summary

UFP Site Built in Auburn, NY is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory and production according to the schedule. You will maintain accurate records and support production with timely material supply.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing yard storage; performing pre-shift checks; and adhering to safety rules. Eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred; not strictly required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to complete forklift licensing.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and label materials.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and production records.
• Maintain organized rough material and finished goods inventory yard.
• Follow forklift safety policies and participate in safety programs.
