Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Production is seeking a Machine Operator 1 to set up, maintain, and operate basic food processing machines that produce intermediate products. You will work in a refrigerated plant, following HACCP guidelines and company safety rules.

The role requires reading and following instructions, strong attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset. Overtime and weekend scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Team player required to work closely and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic machines to combine ingredients into intermediate food products.
• Sets up machines for Production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
• Observes machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines.
• Inspects parts and makes adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality.
• Cleans and sanitizes machines according to company guidelines and machine specs.
• Ensures product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
• Displays positive attitude toward people, equipment, and company policy.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follows company safety guidelines, HACCP requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
