Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an entry-level general labor associate for 1st shift in the United States (Texas facility). The role involves performing entry-level tasks across Fresh Processing areas such as DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration, while maintaining safety and adhering to company policies.

The position requires physical stamina to stand 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with PPE and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
• Be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
• Be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Able to perform repetitive motion.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
• Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
• Must pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Work in any area of Fresh Processing including DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration.
