Global Medical Response in New York is hiring a full-time mechanic to join our AMR fleet team. The role involves light mechanical and electrical repairs, responding to vehicle breakdowns, and providing logistical support as needed.

You will work with front-line mechanics to maintain a safe, reliable fleet and ensure timely repairs. Entry-level position with a starting wage of $28.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper experience preferred.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive) preferred, Brake and Steering/Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification preferred.
• Basic set of personal tools required.

Responsibilities

• Performs light mechanical and electrical repairs on AMR vehicles.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Provides logistical support for the department and assists Front Line Mechanics.
• Operates company vehicles safely and in accordance with policy.
• Completes paperwork and uses AMR repair orders and maintenance database.
