Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions in Minnesota seeks an Analyst to support fixed income credit research and surveillance, collaborating with portfolio managers to enhance risk management and decision making.

You will conduct quantitative and fundamental analyses, prepare reports, monitor separately managed accounts, and develop models using Bloomberg, Clearwater Analytics, and S&P data. A bachelor's in finance or related field is required, with 1–3 years in investment management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• 1–3 years in investment management or investment banking as fixed income analyst/trader.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support credit research and surveillance of assigned sectors.
• Assist portfolio managers and investment committee with analyses and reviews.
• Prepare earnings/research reports for inclusion in strategy and positioning.
• Monitor exposures in separately managed accounts and analyze sector trends.
• Maintain and support financial models and peer analysis for recommendations.
• Collaborate with Quantitative and Risk Analyst functions as needed.
