• Submit a complete application and all required supporting documents by the published deadline.

• Satisfy both the Fire Certification Pathway and EMS Certification Pathway on the date of the entrance examination.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training classes, skills practice, and drills to enhance job-related skills and abilities.
• Respond safely to fire/medical/emergency calls for assistance.
• Operate within the Incident Management System and departmental procedures.
• Communicate with individuals and crew to ensure coordination of apparatus and personnel.
• Maintain personal gear, inspections and routine duties as assigned.
