Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn installation techniques and fire protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist installers with layout, assembly, and installation of piping and equipment.
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from the job site.
• Cut, thread, and install pipes under supervision.
• Help measure, drill, and hang pipe supports and prep work areas.
• Load and unload materials and keep the site organized.
• Assist in testing systems for proper operation and code compliance.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Follow instructions from foremen and project managers.
• Assist in reporting issues or hazards.
