Qualifications

• Entry-level designer position requires basic engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fire sprinkler designs using Revit and AutoSprink.
• Hydraulically calculate fire protection systems using hydraulic software.
• Review architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Manage all aspects of project design from conception to completion.
• Coordinate fire sprinkler projects using 3D BIM modeling software (Navisworks).
• Prepare submittal packages with permit drawings, material and equipment manuals, and final As-Built drawings.
• Stock/order material for sprinkler systems for fabrication and on-time delivery.
• Perform field surveys and water flow tests; assist with site surveys and RFIs.
