Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for the Lenexa, KS office. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• EIT in Fire Protection Engineering preferred.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire protection design and support for complex industrial facilities.
• Perform fire hazard analysis to determine hazards and protection schemes.
• Generate calculations for water supply, pumps, and pipe sizing.
• Review vendor fire suppression and alarm system plans and calculations.
• Develop specifications and manage contracts for protection systems.
• Travel ~10% to meet clients or jobsite personnel.
