Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC Fort Worth, TX is seeking an entry-level helper to assist fire alarm technicians with installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of life-safety systems. This on-site role provides hands-on training and exposure to fire alarm work while supporting safe, code-compliant field operations.

You will load and organize tools, follow drawings and safety procedures, and participate in required safety meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and prior construction or electrical experience a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installation of fire alarm devices, wiring, conduit, and equipment.
• Support testing and inspection of fire alarm systems under supervision.
• Help identify and document deficiencies or issues discovered during service or inspections.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Follow project instructions, drawings, and safety procedures.
• Assist with system troubleshooting as skills develop.
• Participate in required safety meetings and training.
