Job summary

The Financial Crimes Investigator I at the State of Florida in West Palm Beach is an entry-level role in the Division of Public Assistance Fraud. You will assist investigations, administer oaths, gather evidence, and prepare affidavits under supervision.

A background in criminal justice or related fields is preferred, with a mandatory four years of experience or degree-based substitution. The position requires a valid Florida driver’s license, in-person work, and completion of training.

• Interview targets and community contacts as needed.
• Obtain statements; document investigative efforts in information systems.
• Apply relevant statutes and policies; prepare affidavits.
