Job summary

Commonwealth Rolled Products in Lewisport, KY is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The role supports financial planning, forecasting, journal entries in Oracle, and variance analysis to help drive manufacturing performance.

You will collaborate with accounting and operations, prepare month-end reports, analyze expenses vs. budget, and contribute to reporting on working capital, cash flow, and SG&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills are needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture.

• Perform month-end analysis of actual expense versus budget and report findings to finance personnel or managers.
• Create and post assigned Journal Entries to Oracle.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and support balance sheet reconciliations as needed.
• Support finance leadership with financial analysis and special projects.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and efficiency.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly reporting including working capital, cash flow, and SG&A analysis.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in offsite physical inventory cycle counts as needed.
