Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. in Willmar MN is hiring an entry-level Fill Plant Operator. The role focuses on manufacturing compressed gas and liquids, including pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling, and shipment readiness. You may move and store cylinders and assist with loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications (daily).
• Ensure all cylinders pass required pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Correctly label cylinders.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
