Job summary

Proconex in Royersford, PA is hiring entry-level Field Service Technicians to start technical careers with hands-on work on industrial control systems and valves. You will train, join a mentorship-driven team, and gain real field experience at customer sites.

The role emphasizes field and assembly work (80%), with pathways to lead technician, supervisor, or sales engineering roles as you grow through Emerson factory training and on-the-job coaching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or enrolled/graduated from trade/technical program).
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for field work).
• Drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control valves, regulators, and automated valve systems at Royersford facility and customer locations.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, calibration, and installation of industrial control systems.
• Troubleshoot and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians, sales engineers, and customer service teams.
• Support skid assembly and mechanical equipment projects.
• Prioritize safety and maintain professional work standards.
