Job summary

Global Environmental & Industrial Response is seeking motivated Industrial Field Technicians to join our team. You will operate specialized equipment to perform industrial cleaning at client sites, including high-pressure water-blast and vacuum units.

This hands-on, physically demanding role requires teamwork, safety compliance, and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in varied environments, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of performing manual labor outdoors in varied weather.
• Willingness to work in confined, elevated, hot, wet or foul environments during 8–12 hour shifts.
• Ability to use a respirator where needed; clean-shaven may be required.
• Willingness to work shifts longer than 8 hours and to respond to emergencies.
• Prior hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment preferred.
• Follow training and standard operating procedures.
• Physically control hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
• Basic mechanical skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate high-pressure water-blast units to clean customer systems.
• Follow GEIR safety standards and protocols.

• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Clean and maintain equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
• Communicate with Crew Lead or Field Supervisor about safety, quality, and integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• On the job training provided.

Position Overview

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking motivated Industrial Field Technicians to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will operate specialized equipment and tools to perform industrial and environmental cleaning at client sites. This includes safely operating high-pressure water-blast units and industrial vacuum units to clean customer systems such as pipes, boilers, and tanks. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that is vital to our service operations.

• Set up job sites for vacuum truck and other environmental services, including equipment, tools, barricade tape, and tags.
• Safely operate high-pressure water-blast units to clean customer systems.

• Participate in daily manual and practical activities.
• Perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Clean and maintain equipment before returning to the GEIR office.
• Communicate effectively with the Crew Lead or Field Supervisor regarding safety, quality, and integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Willingness to work shifts longer than 8 hours and to respond to emergencies as needed.
• Previous hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow training and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to physically control industrial hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
• Basic mechanical skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record preferred.
  

Pay

• $18 - $19/hour
