Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting results daily. You may travel to various sites and report findings on site to superintendents.

No experience required; we train and sponsor certifications. Responsibilities include testing per ASTM standards, maintaining equipment, and ensuring chain of custody.

Qualifications

• ACI Field Grade I certification preferred but not required.
• Nuclear gauge safety certification preferred; company sponsors both.
• NICET Level I/II sponsorship available as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
