Job Summary

Medline's ReNewal Division is hiring for a Field Services Technician (40 hours/week) in the Indianapolis area! Medline ReNewal reprocesses used medical devices to reduce waste in landfills and provide cost savings to facilities. Check out our YouTube video to learn more about us!

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and working in the Indianapolis region (and surrounding areas), the Field Services Technician is responsible for supporting the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program. This includes packing and shipping designated medical devices and performing other tasks as agreed with the facility. The individual will deliver prompt, excellent service to maintain and grow the program, including but not limited to:

Essential Functions:

  1. Establish and follow a regular schedule to visit the assigned facility to collect devices in designated containers.
  2. Coordinate packing of devices in Medline ReNewal shipping containers, employing proper techniques for safe shipment.
  3. Arrange for shipment of collection containers promptly.
  4. Update the Collection Container Locations sheet to keep an accurate record of container placements throughout the facility.
  5. Support in-service sessions as directed by the Account Manager.
  6. Make regular rounds throughout the facility to introduce yourself, answer questions, and address staff concerns with the Account Manager.
  7. Travel 100% around Indianapolis and to Fort Wayne.
  8. Ensure program supplies are stocked.
  9. Distribute program collateral as directed by the Account Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally 100% around Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds regularly.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record, and ability to travel in your own vehicle.
  • Ability to be credentialed to gain access to all required rooms within each facility.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-initiative and dependability for independent work.

The salary range for this position is $15.50 - $21.75 per hour. Actual salary depends on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline guarantees not to pay below the applicable minimum wage.
