Job summary

Earth Systems is seeking an Entry-Level Scientist / Engineer / Geologist to join our Tallahassee environmental team. This hands-on, field-focused role supports investigations, sampling, remediation, and project execution across Florida, with significant outdoor work in various weather and terrain.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Scientists, Geologists, and Engineers, perform field tasks, and help ensure safety and quality while traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate field documentation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling following QA/QC procedures.
• Support Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and investigations.
• Assist with remediation system operation, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Support field activities like drilling, well installation, and logging.
• Document site conditions and activities; prepare field notes and reports.
• Operate and calibrate field equipment; travel to project sites in Florida.
