Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Montgomery, PA is seeking an entry-level Equipment Operator. The role includes learning basic safety, repair and operation procedures, with on-site training during a 90-day period and potential lodging/rotating schedules depending on location.

You will complete inspections, assist with rigging, maintenance, and prepare for jobs while adhering to HSE guidelines and safety standards. A CDL and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Fully understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long work days, irregular hours, be on-call with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures on equipment and tools under supervision.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in pre/post job equipment inspections and related paperwork.
• Assist in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment.
• Assist in completing preventative maintenance procedures and maintain support equipment.
• Assist in cleaning, repairing, and preparing for a job.
• Practice safe driving when traveling to locations.
• Complete training as required by the company learning development system.
