Job summary

Slicfiber is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Telecommunications Lineman to join our team in Upstate New York. You will assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks.

This role provides on-the-job training, focusing on safety and skill development in a dynamic outdoor setting. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work in all weather conditions are essential. Starting salary ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior telecommunications or construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks.
• Safely operate tools and equipment used in fiber installation.
• Interact professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
