North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Shop Assistant to support the Equipment Manager and Senior Technician. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and ensure the workshop is organized and safe.

The role provides hands-on learning in technical diagnostics and repair skills, with opportunities to grow within a club environment that values teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors.
• Ability to communicate equipment issues clearly.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, holidays.
• Basic understanding of small engines and hand tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist Equipment Manager and Senior Technician with repairs.
• Keep shop clean and organized.
• Receive broken equipment and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Perform basic, routine maintenance as assigned.
• Return repaired equipment to designated spots.
