Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking an Entry Level Labor Pool to monitor inspection and carton equipment, report defects, and keep the area clean. The role includes cleaning, housekeeping, and rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a packaging facility in Port Allegany, PA.

The starting pay is $24.03 per hour, with increases dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Availability for full-time shifts and adherence to safety rules are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to physically perform all related tasks.
• Stand for 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, un-jam, and restart automatic equipment.
• Repack and reselection of ware; discard off ware.
• Perform inspection using light box.
• Report defects to supervisor.
• Complete production reports and records.
• Manually fold carton components to pre-form position.
• Follow all food safety rules and regulations.
