Job summary

Halliburton in Odessa, Texas is seeking an entry-level apprentice to learn and perform basic safety, repair and operations procedures on assigned equipment under supervision. The role includes assisting in inspections, rigging-up/-down, preventive maintenance and job preparation.

Under strict supervision, you will complete training in health, safety and environmental guidelines and participate in the company’s learning development processes to advance within the operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• This is an entry level position.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures on assigned PSL equipment and tools using the defined competency system for this job role.
• May assist in pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and related paperwork and/or reports.
• May assist in equipment rigging-up and rigging-down.
• May complete preventative maintenance procedures and maintain support equipment.
• Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for a job.
• Completes requisite training following the Company's learning development system and processes.
