Job summary

Kiewit Equipment Services is seeking an Entry Level Equipment Engineer to support construction and mining operations. You will plan, schedule, and budget a fleet of equipment, improve reliability, and help implement preventative maintenance programs.

Based across the United States, you may relocate as needed. The role requires an undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology or related field and a willingness to travel; CAD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate AS/BS in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• 1+ year of equipment experience preferred.
• Willing to travel and relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Material handling and procurement.
• Create and maintain tool lists and documentation.
• Inspect equipment and parts for quality and safety.
• Plan, schedule, and budget long/short range equipment activities.
• Use reliability data to increase availability and reliability.
• Support maintenance technicians, order parts, schedule crews.
