Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an entry-level Associate Environmental Test Technician in Huntsville, AL to perform hands-on setup, execution, and teardown of environmental and climatic tests on customer test articles. You will work with test engineers to ensure procedures are followed and lab safety protocols are maintained.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of hands-on experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related associate degree preferred.
• 0-2 years hands-on technical experience desirable.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mounting customer equipment onto test fixtures and environmental chambers.
• Install and wire test instrumentation; monitor and log data during tests.
• Maintain lab logs, SOP adherence, and safety procedures per ISO 17025.
