Description

The role involves engineering concepts across various fields such as wastewater, water resources, potable water, or construction management. Detailed Description:

In this role, you will collaborate with project managers and team leads both locally and nationally to execute infrastructure projects involving engineering principles. Responsibilities include supporting planning, evaluation, design, and construction activities related to wastewater, water, and stormwater systems. We value candidates passionate about the environment, eager to learn from seasoned professionals, and capable of working effectively in a team environment. Key duties include:

  • Performing field assessments to evaluate site conditions and collect design criteria.
  • Assisting with environmental studies, permitting, and alternative analysis.
  • Carrying out calculations, preparing technical drawings, specifications, and reports under supervision.
  • Checking performance and conformity with design plans through inspections and reporting.
  • Supporting the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
  • Collecting and recording data and documentation.
  • Preparing spreadsheets, documents, drawings, and maps using AutoCAD or GIS.
  • Executing planning, assessment, detailed design, and construction administration tasks.
  • Communicating effectively and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • EIT and/or NASSCO certifications are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in water, stormwater, or wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling is preferred.
  • Experience with field data collection tools and GIS editing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in diverse teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work in various field conditions, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
Additional Information:

Salary Range: $58,000 - $79,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
