Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) seeks an entry-level Civil/Environmental Engineer to support ERG’s Water Practice in Virginia.

You will contribute to water resources, water quality, and wastewater management projects across a range of technical tasks. Ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional, you’ll perform research, data collection, analyses, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and project managers to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering with focus on water/wastewater
• 0-1 years of professional experience
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Strong data analysis with Excel and R
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in water resources or wastewater related coursework
• Internship or project experience in environmental consulting

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project support across ERG’s water projects
• Assist with research, data collection, and analysis related to water resources, water quality, wastewater management, and water and wastewater treatment
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project deliverables
• Analyze water and wastewater treatment needs, treatment performance. and costs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and project managers to support client objectives
• Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks that support successful project execution
