Job summary

Kleinfelder Inc., a leading environmental consulting firm, seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Environmental Scientist for our Austin team. You will execute projects under the supervision of a Project Manager, contributing to environmental assessments, permitting, remediation, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Experience working with private/public sector clients and cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental assessments, audits, permitting, subsurface investigations, remediation and monitoring.
• Develop work plans, deliverables, geologic sections and reports.
• Lead small teams, mentor staff and coordinate project tasks with PMs and senior staff.
• Assist in business development activities and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare scopes of work and fee estimates for new work; manage budgets.
