Job summary
Saalex Corporation in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician I to provide entry‑level technical support for installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction, and operation of electronic and mechanical equipment and systems.
You will work under supervision to assist with routine engineering tasks and project tracking, gaining hands‑on experience in a technical environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, and operation of equipment and systems.
- Support preparation and maintenance of technical documents, drawings, reports, studies, databases, logs, and project records.
- Research technical issues and compile information for reports and studies.
- Assist with fabrication, testing, and documentation of hardware and software systems.
- Provide basic support for design, coding, and documentation of software products.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, databases, inventory records, and project-status logs.
- Support onsite communication and coordination with customers during activities.
- Follow engineering plans, standards, specifications, test procedures, and policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
