Day to Day Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking an Engineering Technologist in Raleigh, NC. This entry-level position will be fully trained! The role is part of the major projects team, working on various distribution design projects. Responsibilities include designing and entering work orders into proprietary client systems. The position is primarily office-based but may include some fieldwork. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow with the company.

• Provide technical expertise to evaluate options and design safe, cost-effective, and reliable electrical distribution facilities for roads, highways, and large-scale lighting.
• Learn company and client policies for developing site designs for electrical distribution facilities for various customers.
• Prepare site drawings and construction sketches for electrical installations, focusing on safety and reliability.
• Develop project or job packages, including material estimates and requisitions for necessary materials.
