Job Title: Entry Level Engineering Technologist

Insight Global is seeking an Entry Level Engineering Technologist to join a large engineering client. This role involves working closely with the company's end client to handle work orders, design lighting upgrades, modifications, re-installations, and construction plans using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing own work orders from start to finish
2. Designing upgrades, modifications, and reinstallation processes
3. Assisting in scheduling and developing construction plans
4. Creating work packages, construction plans, and bill of materials
5. Managing scope of work schedules
6. Collecting, maintaining, and organizing technical data
7. Gathering documentation and supplementary data for design purposes

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates or Technical Degree in any engineering field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably with an electric utility or consulting company
• Interest in developing construction work packages for electric distribution systems
• Experience in gathering customer requirements and coordinating with project managers
