Job summary

ERMCO is seeking motivated early‑career engineers to join our manufacturing and product‑development teams in a fast‑paced environment. The Engineer I role focuses on applying technical knowledge to improve quality, productivity and efficiency across multiple disciplines.

You will collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain and maintenance to solve technical challenges, support process improvements and participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives while aligning with our POWER Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Concentration in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
• Analyze technical data and provide recommendations to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Assist with the design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and other functional teams to solve technical challenges.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, reports, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Support product development, validation, and manufacturing process improvement activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Present project findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ERMCO's POWER Values in all aspects of work.
