Overview

The Engineer Technologists will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by field personnel. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use this information to digitally create the design distribution map.

Responsibilities

• Digitally create the design distribution map using survey data, pole locations, and attached assets.

Required skills and experience

• 0-3 years of experience within design, drafting, GIS, or similar experience within telecom, fiber, networking, engineering, construction, utilities, etc.
• Valid driver\'s license
• Previous experience with CAD, AutoCAD, Katapault, Spidacalc, or any similar software

Compensation

$18.00/hr - $23.00/hr
