Cummins Inc. is seeking an entry level control engineering professional to tailor electronic control systems for Cummins products.

You will decompose requirements into functional specs, design and tune controls, and perform comprehensive validation testing on integrated hardware and software systems. The role emphasizes development of open/closed loop control strategies, diagnostics, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, with opportunities to advance through an engineering rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field.
• Entry level/early career experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic controls (open/closed loop) and diagnostics for various Cummins applications.
• Configure, calibrate, and validate integrated hardware/software control systems.
• Translate customer needs into functional control and diagnostic algorithms and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve control development processes.
